Ascutney Lift Tickets

Ascutney Outdoors is a small local’s ski area that offers T-Bar and uphill hiking access to the old Ascutney Mountain Resort terrain. The resort closed in 2010 and since then the land has been annexed onto protected forest land. Since Ascutney Outdoors is a small volunteer-run ski area, you won’t have to pay $1k for a season’s pass here. Ascutney is only open on weekends with rope tow access on Fridays.

Ascutney Lift Ticket FAQ

The Ascutney Outdoors ski area consists of the remnants of the Ascutney Ski Resort which closed in 2010. It is now a volunteer-run nature preserve and a small ski area with limited terrain, limited facilities, limited hours etc. This is just not a regular ski resort.

Children ages 6 and under can ski for free any time that Ascutney is open on the weekends. The rope tow is open on Fridays from 2 pm to 4:30 pm and the rope tow is always free.

ASAP, but there is no snowmaking here so this is among the later ski areas to open each year.
