The resort is located in the heart of Spruce Peak Village, a lively town center with a West Coast Ski Village feel, making it easy to get anything you could need during your stay within just a five-minute walk. There is a $45 per night Resort Fee. It includes access to valet parking for one vehicle, fitness center access, and coffee service.
It’s just a 15-minute drive to Stowe Village. The Mountain Road Shuttle also runs to Stowe Village around every half hour on weekdays and every 20 minutes on weekends for guests that don’t want to drive. Best of all, the shuttle is completely free!
Dogs are welcome at The Lodge with a fee of $100(+ tax) per night. The fee includes a dog bed and chew toy at check-in. However, The Penthouses and Luxury Rental Collection do not allow dogs, so call the reservations department directly before booking to ensure your room is pet-friendly. The Lodge at Spruce Peak vs. Green Mountain Inn – Staying at Green Mountain Inn is a different experience than staying at The Lodge at Spruce Peak. Green Mountain Inn is located right in Stowe’s town center, a fifteen-minute drive to the slopes (or a ride on the shuttle), making it an ideal option for people that aren’t necessarily ski-enthusiasts, but may still want to get a day in at the slopes. If your priority for vacation is skiing, you can still get to the mountain from Green Mountain Inn, but The Lodge at Spruce Peak offers much greater proximity with a greater focus on the apres ski experience.
